Fall is here and wow is it cold! It seems like only three weeks ago we had 90 degree days and now we can’t get out of the 60’s! It’s a little shocking, but we’re glad to not be sweating anymore.
A lot has been going on since our last update. We’ve started and as of this Wednesday will complete our study of the 9 Marks of a Healthy Church. We love what God has been teaching us through his word and this study and look forward to what He uses it to accomplish in the life of our church family.
We’ve recently added a few new members to our fellowship and are so glad that they and their families are a part of our family here at Cleveland.
Our second season of Upward Flag Football just ended last weekend, and we’re already looking forward to next season as we welcome a new Director in Alex Faulkner and give so much thanks to Rex Branham for leading the Upward ministry from it’s inception over two years ago to now. Thank you Rex!
Coming up for our church family we have our regular times of fellowship, Sunday mornings, Sunday evening student ministry, and Wednesday night bible studies.
On Nov. 24th we will have our CFBC Thanksgiving Meal after the morning service.
On Dec. 7th and 8th we will be presenting I’ll Be Home for Christmas, a Christmas musical, and hope you and your families can join us! Invite your friends and neighbors!
We look forward to worshiping, serving, and living alongside you, our brothers and sisters in Christ, as the days get shorter and we move closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas!
24 “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”-Hebrews 10:24-25
