Thanksgiving – 30 Days of Gratitude

In November, we are celebrating 30 Days of Gratitude. Each day this month, follow along in the journal with a brief devotional and a place to record things you’d like to give thanks for. CFBC Welcomes Wesley Carnley; Youth Minister!

The Search Committee for the Youth Minister is excited to announce that we’ve offered the position to Wesley Carnley – after a unanimous vote at last night’s business meeting – and he has gladly accepted! Wesley and his wife Abby participated as teachers in the Disciple Now Weekend and Wesley preached during the worship service the following Sunday. Work Continues on Upward Flag Football Field

This weekend was a big weekend for the Upward Sport Flag Football fields. Trees were cleared further up toward the back of the property and a burn pile was started. The digging efforts are steadily leveling the field.

Work Begins on Upward Sports Flag Football Field

On Saturday, Bob Dill, Randy Murphree, Anthony Weston, Rex Branham and Nathan Monk made significant progress on the Upward Sports Flag Football fields on the northeast corner of the church property.
